This is the sculpture of the she wolf and the twins Romulus and Remus. Yes, I saw it in person! It's pretty cool! It was in one of the many, many museums we went to. And all across Rome they had stands where you could buy miniature reproductions of it. I bought a mini Pieta` for my aunt.
Interesting (and pointless) fact. The wolf was made by the Etruscans in 65BC, and the twins were added in during the Renaissance, around 1470.
I'm surprised they let you take a picture in the museum! I had no idea it as so big.

D: If I let her out, then she'll eat people and turn them into werewolves.

I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
